Winter Adventures with Barny Bear!

You may remember back in October I shared with you the little adventures we had been having with Barny the bear, If you not you can read all about it here...

Little Adventures with Barny Bear

To celebrate the fact that there are two new flavours to add to the Barny Bear range we were sent a box each of Strawberry and Apple Bears and challenged to go out and have some winter little adventures...

We walked in the forest and built a Den....

Jumped in some Muddy Puddles...

And went round to help out with the grandparents garden...

And after all that we snacked on some yummy Barny Bear's, Elizabeth love the strawberry ones while Ben favoured the apple filled bears. Mummy tried and liked both! They are a delicious treat that are packaged in an appealing way and perfect for popping in your bag when you go off on your next adventure!

This post is an entry for Britmums 'Winter Little Adventures Challenge' sponsored by Barny, the individually wrapped bear-shaped sponges with a hidden filling. Find out more about Barny here www.barnyworld.co.uk

Kids Go Free at National Trust locations this August

I'm a huge fan of the national trust and we have been members since Ben was small. We're lucky enough to have some great national trust places to visit in the North West from Dunham Massey (my favourite!) to Quarry Bank Mill, Lyme Park, Tatton Park and Formby point to name just a few...

I wrote about the national trust's 50 things to do before you're 11 and 3/4 campaign a while ago and this weekend my little boy will be ticking a few more off this list as his has gone to Scout Camp with Daddy!

This fab new 50 Things to do before you’re 11¾ campaign provides a checklist for under-12s (and those who are young at heart!) including everything from running around in the rain and bug hunting, to setting up a snail race, damming a stream, flying a kite and growing your own veg!

If you fancy joining in with the adventures this weekend, as we certainly have the weather for it, why not pop over to the national Trust Website and print off a voucher for children up to the age of 16 to go free with a paying adult / member?

If you think there's something missing from the list you can suggest your own ideas for a chance to Win an adventure pack just got to the website to add your suggestion...

Do come back here and share your adventures, I'll love to hear what your little ones get up to!
