I don't know if it's because I had a boy first but I seem to have a weak spot for the girly fabrics that make up so much of the MINENE range, the prints are just beautiful!
The Mi Booster Cushion is designed for toddlers who can sit unaided at the table but may need a little 'boost' to reach, it provides both comfort and style and has a safety strap that fits most dining chairs.
We were sent the Mi Booster Cushion in Red stripe which, although not one of the pretty floral fabrics I was cooing over when looking at the site, is still a really lovely unisex design that I know can be used by Elizabeth once Ben has outgrown it!
The cushion also comes with a pack of crayons and a lovely 'Minene' colouring book. The lightweight and compact design of the cushion made it ideal for taking out and about (although it's just as handy at home!)
Ben was rather excited to take it with him when we visited Gran and Grandad's house and (although I don't believe the staps are meant for this) he carried it on his back like a rucksack!
It fitted easily on to my mother-in-law's dining chairs, (these are quite different in style to our own which it also fitted well onto) so it is certainly a universal product! The buckles are strong but not stiff and were simple to fasten under the seat of the chair.
The height of the cushion gave Ben the boost he needed to comfortably reach the dining table to both eat lunch as then play at the table colouring in the provided pictures. We have also used this at home when baking and it enabled him to easily reach the things he needed at the table to help!
The crayons all have their own little holder down one side of the cushion and the other side has a pocket for what ever little toys or items need a place to be kept, Ben decided this was the ideal place to keep his tools!
The colouring book was really beautifully designed and folded out into a frieze, starting with the dinosaur and ending with the flowers, colouring this in kept Ben entertained for quite a while!
The cushion is very well made, from high quality materials and washed very easily when Ben managed to 'colour it in' slightly with the crayons! The cover was easy to zip off and did not shrink or fade at all in the wash.
This is a lovely product that is both practical and stylish, as well as being well made and high quality so I can be confident that it will last and can be used for Elizabeth when she is older! In this case Minene have certainly achieved their goal of bringing comfort and joy to a parent and child!
