It almost been a running joke, that yes, I've got another chest infection...
It got to the point where I wasn't sleeping , and was coughing so much I couldn't keep food down so was feeling rather weak.
After spending a weekend looking after my 5 year old son who was also unwell, I forced myself out of bed on Tuesday morning and into work, however i only made it as far as the lift and as the doors opened on my floor, I fainted.
I have to say this was probably one of the most embarrassing experiences of my life! But everyone in work was great and my lovely boss got me to A&E to be checked out. I was expecting to back home by lunchtime but some test results weren't what they were expecting and two days later I was still in hospital.
It felt like torture, I have only ever been in hospital overnight to have my babies, this was so different and with Ben being poorly himself I didn't want him coming in and getting worse. But I missed my monsters so much, all I could think about was getting home to them. Eventually last night I was able to convince the Dr's that sitting in a hospital bed was doing me no good and I was allowed out but do have to return as an outpatient for further tests.
So I am now home, very tired and still weak but I have had endless hugs and kisses from my two monsters which has to e the best medicine in the world!!
I wanted to say thank you to everyone for all the well wishes they really kept me going while I was going slightly stir crazy stirring at four white walls. And I'm sorry for the delays in any posts / reviews that I have promised, they will be up as soon as I can manage, please bear with me though as my priority over the next few days is catching up on my missed hugs and kisses from Ben and Elizabeth.
