#Project365 Week Eight

Day 47

Today we visited some friends at their new house, because of hectic diaries it was a long over due visit  and we also exchanged Christmas gifts!  This is the children very impressed with the Gruffalo  magnet book they received. 

Day 48

Things have been getting to me recently in work and today I decided to  stop feeling sorry for my self and start looking for another job. 

Day 49

Elizabeth was  very excited to be picking her big brother up from Big Gran's house today, so much so she ran ahead of me and knocked on the door herself. 

Day 50

Today Ben and I went on a trip to London , we had a fabulous time visiting the  Gamsey offices  have monster fun, we then had some time to spare before our return train so decided to visit the Natural History Museum to see some dinosaurs! Ben loved it but I have to admit I was more impressed with the incredible building! I'll have to return to check it out properly next time I'm in London!

   Day 51

It was a rather miserable day weather wise so Ben  stayed in with Nanna playing games and  solving puzzles!  He then decided to play  chef  and  made some scrumptious macaroni cheese  with the recipe from his weekend box!  It was delicious! Day 52

Today was a LEGO sort of day! I need say no more....

Day 53

 Today we had some houses to view as we are looking to get on to the first rung if the property ladder (finally!)  afterwards we wrapped up  warm and went to play at the park! The children love the outdoor gym in our local park do they had a go on the fab exercise machines!

#Project365 Week Seven

Day 40

Sunday was a lazy family day but we popped out for a Sunday Stroll and got some shopping from the brand new Aldi opened round the corner, this is Daddy and Elizabeth with their backpacks full of shopping!

Day 41

After work today I joined my lovely friends and fellow bloggers Pippa from Red Rose Mummy and Steph from Seeing Spots for a bite to eat followed by #CAfashion14, a lovely networking evening hosted by Country Attire.

Day 42

The weather has been interesting of late so I decided to treat myself to some new Wellies! I was thrilled to find these Joules ones on sale for just £18 in Office! Just in time for the Snowfall we had today!

Day 43

Ben was very excited to get his first Beaver badges today!

Day 45

Today was Valentines day, because of work and other commitments, myself and hubby only got to see each other for about an hour, but he did bring me these lovely tulips.

Day 46

Elizabeth had a substitute teacher for Baby Ballet this morning which meant the lesson was rather different from usual, she really took to it, getting into all the dances and becoming a bit giddy at the end of the class. This is her rolling on the floor after getting her Mini Movers certificate!

#Project365 Week Six

Day 33

We had a fun family Sunday! After a lovely (and free!) breakfast out at chiquitos and a visit to the  Grandparents we had an afternoon of baking snowballs and Jam Tarts! Yummy!

Day 34

Monday's seem to be the hardest day of the week at the moment, but watching my children hold hands while walking home in the dark made me smile.

Day 35

A delivery brought my husband's valentines gift and this gorgeous Powell Craft Ballerina Dolly today.

Day 37

While Daddy and Ben were at Beavers, Elizabeth and I had an adventure of or own and treated ourselves to Tea out at Morrisons Cafe. With a Free kids meal (including drink fruit and chocolate with ANY adults meal, it was a bargain!)

Day 38

Today has all been about saving money on energy bills, I spent my lunch break being interviewed by some local radio stations about the best ways to keep household heating costs down and then some new LED bulbs arrived for me to review.

Day 39

Friday is here! After being caught in the rain on the way home fro wok there was nothing I wanted to do more that warm up in front of the woodburning fire at my in-laws... So cozy!

Day 40

Today we visited our bank and got an agreement in principle for a mortgage to buy our first home, we still need to find somewhere we love but it feels one step closer to getting on

 the property ladder! Today's bedtime story of choice was Room on the Broom, it is one of the children's favorites and they are looking forward to dressing up as characters from it for our leg of #Teamhonkrelay for Sports Relief next month!
