Week two of #BoostBuddies and still going in the right direction

I'm now two full weeks in the XLS Nutrition Meal Replacement Plan and this week hasn't felt quite as difficult. Maybe it's the sunny weather that is making eating salads that bit easier and making me more inclined to walk further.

Two weeks ago I shared my reasons for wanting to lose weight and last week I discussed my weight loss goals, today I'm going to talk to you about my week and share with you how much I have lost. I also want to share the fact that my confidence has grown somewhat and really making an effort to get into the picture more. The above shot was taken on a visit to the Lake District on bank holiday Monday, I enjoyed playing about with the children, and worried a lot less about how I looked.

I was quite hesitant when I stood on the scales this week as I really wasn't sure if the number would have gone down by much or even at all. This week saw me resist a lot of temptation, from an amazing looking buffet lunch and cake at Blog On, to a whole host of sweet treats in the office. I've been preparing small pots of fresh fruit in the mornings so I have something sweet to snack on if the craving gets too much. I find a handful of blueberries or chopped strawberries seems to satisfy it well.

As well as replacing two meals a day with XLS Nutrition Shakes, I've also been very conscious of the food I have been eating for my evening meals, determined to make the healthiest of choices.
This week we made the most of the beautiful weather and enjoyed a family BBQ in the garden, I chose a single bean burger with salad and a corn on the cob.

So back to the scales, I was pleasantly surprised to see the number reduce by another five pounds!

That's a total of  12lbs down in just two weeks of replacing two meals a day with an XLS nutrition shake!

I'm really pleased by the result after two weeks of using the XLS shakes as meal replacements twice a day. I'm starting to see a little difference in the pictures I think and I'm really happy with the numbers on the scales. This week will be another tough one as we're off on a trip to Alton Towers at the end of the week to celebrate the end of the SATs and my husband's birthday. I'm going to struggle with healthy food there I think, but hopefully the epic walking will counter any extra calories!

Check out my video diary over on youtube.  and catch up with me on my social channels; on InstagramTwitter and Facebook,, I'd love your support and I need the motivation!

I will be back to update you next week on Sunday.
