The children (and Mummy and Daddy!) had lots of fun running around on the play areas, petting the animals, watching (and riding on) the trains, discovering the fairies and much more so I thought I would show you our day in pictures...
We had lots of fun finding Fairies....
And visiting the animals.....
Before having a play....
Making some music....
And discovering some trains...
Costing under £20 for all of us (2 adults, a four year old and a one year old) this was a fabulous family day out that didn't break the bank!
We will definately be returning and next time will be taking a picnic to enjoy on one of the lovely picnic areas and wellies so we can explore the wetland walk!
I'm linking this to the fab Country Kids over at Coombe Mill so why not pop over and check out other fun days out in the fresh air...
I'm from north wales and this is one of the few places I haven't yet taken the kids, I live on anglesey, I don't drive so it does make it harder to get to places, Another great place to visit is greenwood, lots to do and see, xx
ReplyDeletewow! Lucky you living on Anglesey! I love it there! I imagine it may be difficult to get to with out a car (I'm used to that retriction as I don't drive myself, but hubby does so we had they car for this trip) but if you can get there it's so worth it! We had a really fab day out! We were actually 50/50 between Gypsy Wood and Greenwood they both looked great so we flipped a coin! We'll have to try Greenwood next time we're spending a weekend on the Lyn Penisula in May! x
Deletethat looks like a great day, what lovely photos. Unfortunately we don't usually venture much north of swansea.
ReplyDeleteThere looks a lot to do for not a lot of money. I love the LC at Swansea (sorry off topic). Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteSome great ideas here in the Comments, go Wales! I love the pictures, some interesting ideas I would love to add to Coombe Mill like the hop scotch and cow milking, more for the to do list! Thank you for sharing your lovely day out on Country Kids
