We have a huge tree to decorate and have lots of plain baubles that are great, but I really love special individual and handmade decorations. So each year we go to craft fayres and buy a couple of new decorations for it so we will build up a collection and by the time the children are older our lovely tree will be filled with special decorations that conjure up memories of their childhood Christmases. Hopefully these can then be passed on and used on their family trees for years to come!
Amongst their many offerings of beautiful personalised gifts the lovely Impressions to Keep have these beautiful ceramic snowmen that can be personalised with a name or message of your choice! These would make a very special addition to any tree and would be cherished for years to come!
These lovely snowmen are just £7 each and you can check out the full range of Christmas items on the Impressions to Keep Facebook page.
But personalised gifts are not just for Christmas (as they say) and the lovely Impressions to keep offer all sorts of precious handmade gifts and keepsakes. Ranging from silver fingerprint jewellery to hand painted and personalised ceramics they have something for all occasions and all budgets! Prices start from as little as £5 and every item is handmade by former RAF mum of two Emma who started up her business as she loved buying keepsakes to capture memories of her boys' childhood but realised that she could do these better and cheaper!
And So Impressions to keep was born! Why not pop over to the website and take a look? If you can't find what you are looking for then do get in touch with Emma on facebook or by email as she is happy to create something bespoke and is always on the look out for new design ideas!

ReplyDeleteBest Christmas memory was when hubby dressed up as 'man in red' and went into daughter's bedroom to leave her filled stocking at the bottom of the bed. She sat bolt upright and said, "Santa, will you leave a present for mummy and daddy?" He couldn't speak, just nooded and waved and raced into our room, tore off the outfit and dived into bed. Next thing was the door opened and she announced, "I've been talking to Santa." She was only 3! She remembers it to this day but we have never given her any more details! She is now 28 and about to have her first baby. Hope she has as many memories with her family as we have had with ours. @01592_katie

My first memory is waking up to a sack of presents by my bed and crying as I had missed santa

We put our tree up the other day and as soon as I switched the lights on, my 2 year old said "merry Christmas to everyone!" It was so funny because we hadn't taught him to say it, but he'd obviously picked it up from a cheesy Christmas film. The memory will stay with me forever!

mine has to be last christmas which was my son's 1st christmas. we booked a magical trip to the enchanted christmas experience at the famous westonbirt arboretum in wiltshire and it really was magical as it had been snowing so there was snow everywhere. it was an illuminated walk through the forest with christmassy things to see on the way, and when we were walking it started snowing again. father christmas greeted us at the end of the walk and there was a little christmas market. it was just so magical.

ReplyDeleteMy best Christmas memory was not too long ago. My 2nd son was born late at night 18th December and I was in hospital for a while. When we were finally allowed to go home, my other half had put all the presents under the tree and turned all the lights on and it was so nice to walk to the lounge with everything so christmassy and our new addition <3

Have so many happy Christmas memories it's hard to choose just one! I remember being overwhelmed with happiness when I was 6 and received my longed after Barbie bike....amazing!! Oh and the year my parents had a few to many sherries whist making dinner....burnt to a crisp haha :)
ReplyDeleteI remember as a little girl waking up in the middle of the night on Christmas Eve and being sure I'd heard reindeer and jingle bells outside. I crept into the living room and saw that beneath the tree it was laden with presents and there was a note on the hearth for me from the big man himself thanking me for the decorations and mince pies that I had made for him - I can't tell you how elated I was! Just magical :o)
