DOG BOWL SUMMER SCHOOL
LET THE BIG DOGS TEACH YOUR PUPS TO BOWL
This Summer, Dog Bowl will be hosting a special Summer School to teach the kids of Manchester how to bowl with the help of a professional from the British female bowling team.
Jo Allsebrook will be on hand to teach a group of children how to spin, line up shots, and curl the American style bowling balls down the full length ten-pin lanes. There will also be techniques specifically for younger players to upgrade them from the ramps to the ‘Pee-Wee method’.
The course will run for four weeks taking place on a Wednesday morning from 10am - 12pm beginning on 24th July 2013. All kids registered will get a two hour group lesson followed by lunch while parents relax in the venue’s restaurant and enjoy a chat over coffee and cake.
The package will cost £50 for the four sessions and is suitable for children between 5 and 11 years of age. Those who would like to register interest in the Summer School should email libby@blackdogballroom.co.uk.
Opened in April 2013, Dog Bowl, the third venture from Black Dog Ballroom, in the old Cocotoo, facing The Ritz, has joined a number of new venues on Whitworth Street West.

Dog Bowl serves delicious quesadillas, BBQ grilled steak, fried chicken and fajitas plus it’s bespoke cocktail list late into the night.
Dog Bowl is open 12pm - 3am Monday through Thursday, 12pm - 4am Fridays, 10am - 4am on Saturdays and from 10am - 3am on Sundays. Children are welcome in the venue 10am - 3pm at weekends and it will also open earlier in school holidays.
