With just one week left of the summer holidays for most of us it's getting harder to find fun things to keep the little ones entertained, especially on a budget!
The Halos N Horns Little Book of Holiday Fun is packed with fresh ideas for mum and dad on how to keep the kids entertained, without spending a fortune so is the perfect solution!
You’ll find loads of fun ideas that revolve around doing activities together and creating things. Lots of the ideas have come from Halo's N Horn's fans on facebook , (so look out on page 7 for my creative hungry caterpillars idea!)
It’s a mix of new and old favourites, to occupy kids at home, on a family day out or on holiday. From water-based alfresco fun, to creative ideas for making things, the perfect family picnic, making the most of being outdoors, and great tips for surviving long car journeys, The Little Book of Holiday Fun has it covered.
I've been reading up on some great ideas to keep the kids entertained in the car, from 'snap the car', 'number plate game' and 'doctors dog' and I’ll need them, as tomorrow we're driving up to Scotland, and it will be the longest we've ever taken the children on a car journey!
If you've still got plenty to keep you occupied during the day then there is also a page dedicated to bathtime fun, whether you're at home or away, with some fabulous fun suggestions from 'dunk the duck' to 'toy races' and 'bathtime band!'
Halos N Horns recently surveyed parents about bath time routines and found there was no rest for mum as whilst dads are making bath time fun, for 73% of mums it’s a chance to whizz around the house finishing off chores - with only 27% taking the opportunity to stop and put their feet up!
However, 69% of mums do look forward to bath time as it signals the end of the day and the chance to relax.
The Halos N Horns Little Book of Holiday Fun is available FREE from www.halosnhorns.co.uk, you can download a copy or request a printed booklet posting to you!
And for anyone like me who's always looking for a discount, there’s also a 50p off coupon inside too!
The lovely folks at Halo's N Horn's have offered FOUR fabulous prizes for My Mummy's Pennies readers...
