ReplyDeleteMy lil girl loved chewing on my fingers ,used Nelsons granules(these were great).I also massage the gums (where the tooth was going to come out)with a cold tea spoon and I swear it helps the teeth to cut through .Would love to win a prize for my lil boy.
Oh and I like both sites already.
Pls contact me on kikosicka@live.co.uk
ReplyDeleteMy mum used to freeze teething rings for my little brother and sister instead of the fridge, so they were hard, and cold for much longer!!! I am lucky with my 3, they have all teethed brilliantly - I have escaped well and they just get pink cheeks and dribbly chops, nothing else :) facebook emma speers
ReplyDeleteMy little GIRl likes to chew on extra cold cucumber when she is teething. We also have a great teether from MAM that clips to her cloths so we don't loose it when we are out and about xxx
ReplyDeleteI think a great soother for babies gums when teething is to use a frozen sweet waffle. The coldness on their gums is so soothing and it can do as a nice snack if the baby is old enough. i would love to win this competition for my baby boy please. i have liked mymummyspennies on facebook and i already liked Nuby UK. ReplyDeleteMy baby is only 3 weeks old, but I have already brought a few teethers, a couple being squidgy like material with water inside so you can cool them in the fridge to soothe their gums, so thats what I will be trying out first and I think will be a good option.

ReplyDeleteTeething tips - i generally give my son something frozen to chew on whether it be a frozen chip or waffle - its hard and cool at the same time so helps cut the skin but also soothes :)
Night time i tend to rub a tiny bit of ambesol on the area in question or i use teething powders and give him a little calpol :)
We havent really had any problems with the teething and he sleeps fine at night

well my best tip for teethin is ambesol worked a treat every time and still use it when they have tooth ache now, they are use to the taste so they dont fight gettin it.

ReplyDeleteI let my baby chew on a froozen pinnapple core, brings instant relief - Its an old remedy. Not sure whyit works but it does. I also use New Era Tissue salts for teething from holden and barret. She loves these and it has got the teething over and done with faster Im sure. I also use teething dummys and her blanket teddies to chew on. i have also posted on Nuby FB page. ReplyDeletefor my llittle girl jolie its was to keep sophie the giraffe to hand all the time and always always buy a spare!! and keep a good eye on when its starting to break thats when jolie suffers most, she can do without gel until it gets the breaking part then its dentinox
ReplyDeletecarrots are brilliant to sooth gums and keep their tummy happy
ETA - dino daisy amber anklet from 6 months onwards
i am completely convinced this is why she didnt need gel all the time
i go one for myself to and i truely bellieve they work and blooming well too!

I have done all that is required :) liked all pages, following the blogs and shared on my fb. The best tip i had for a teething baby is buy a round teether, fill with water and leave in the fridge for about an hour, then let them nibble on them. worked a treat with my son. Nicola passey. email - nicstick2002@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteI've bought dribble bibs for both my children. You can get lots of different colurs and the fleece backing stops the slobber from soaking though to their clothes.

i m due in nov and this ismy 1st pregnency and i m expecting a girl..so i dont have any experiance of how to deal with teething baby but i have seen my aunts tackling with thm.. thy give nuby teether along with some hard fruit which thy cant cut into peices under supervision.
ReplyDeleteMehwish ahsan.. my id is mahwish.ahsan@gmail.com
best way we dealt with teething was just putting plenty of teething gel on the gums & calpol for temperatures if they accompanied the teeth!
