The Lego Movie Review - Everything is Awesome

As you will probably know the My Mummy's Pennies Family are big LEGO fans! As soon as we heard the movie was coming out we knew we would be going to see it! It as a huge hit with the whole family and the DVD is on Ben's birthday list!

Here's our family's review:

Mummy (29)

I love LEGO, I love playing with it with my children and even on my own, I remember being so proud of some of my creations as a child and I love watching my children create their own masterpieces. So I was pretty sure I was going to love the LEGO movie and I was not wrong! This animated tale includes the voices of Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett and Morgan Freeman and provides comedy, heart warming moments and even a cat poster!

The storyline begins as we follow a day in the life of Emmett, an ordinary construction worker who ALWAYS follows the instructions. Then we see him being identified as 'the special' and his life changes forever...

This feature length animation is perfect family viewing, I'd highly recommend, grabbing a bowl of popcorn, snuggling up on the sofa and watching together. Just be aware that you will have the rather catchy theme song, 'Everything is Awesome' going round your head for days afterwards!!

Ben (6)
"I think Emmett is really amazing. He is very good at following instructions but can make really cool this using his imagination to why he tries hard. I like the double decker couch and am going to make one with my LEGO. I really like Lord Business too. He is a baddy but goes good at the end. I think the LEGO Movie is Awesome!"

Elizabeth (3)
LEGO Movie is my favourite. I like wildstyle and Batman! *Starts singing* " Everything is Awesome..."

The LEGO movie is now available to watch on TalkTalk box office. It costs £4 and once downloaded you can watch the movie multiple times for up to 48 hours.
