#project365 Week 1

So it's the start of a new year and I have decided to take up the project 365 photo a day challenge again this year. I really loved taking part last year and continued to take pictures everyday but unfortunately couldn't find the time to post them and got too far behind. I have captured precious memories though and have enjoyed looking back on our year.

To make this year easier to keep on top of I will be sharing my pictures each day on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and will be posting a weekly round up on the blog, so here goes....

This week is a short one...

Day one

We had a relaxing New Year's Day playing games and having some quality family time together so both the children were shattered at bed time! They had just enough energy to snuggle up together for a bed time story. They chose the Wizard of OZ, one of the many new books that Father Christmas brought them this year!

Day Two

Elizabeth was back at nursery for the first time in nearly two weeks, she had a fun filled day of dressing up in lots of outfits and was very chatty on the way home! As soon as we got in she was straight to our dress up box and found this pink sparkly hat that we bought from Disney on ice, suits her I think!

Day Three

Ben is a LEGO addict and he got lots of new sets for Christmas including LEGO Castle and Ninjango. He was very excited when the latest edition of the LEGO Club Jr magazine came through the door and got stuck in straight away!

Day Four

Today I was in work, I hate working Saturdays as it really cuts into the time we spend together as a family but it did mean an extra day off in the week and also meant I got to see Spinningfields all lit up and sparkly probably for the last time before the decorations come down.

I'm adding this post to The Boy and Me's 365 linky, why not click on the badge and check out some of the other contributions?

Cant beat a good bedtime story, and a good choice there by Father Christmas, they seem to be enjoying it anyway. Bob loves lego as well.
