A digital postcard from #teamhonk in Ghana #goodwork

Three amazing bloggers and lovely ladies, Annie, Tayna and Penny are currently in Ghana with Jonathan Ross and Davina McCall to mark Comic Relief's 25th birthday visiting projects where comic relief funds have made a difference.

When I was given the opportunity to be sent a digital postcard from one of the projects they visited , I asked for a photo from the Virtuous Women's bakery. After reading about this on the Teamhonk website I found the whole concept so inspiring. Unemployed women from a deprived area teamed together and turned their traditional bakery skills into a successful business that now also helps to fund a nursery for their children.

My Postcard from #Teamhonk shows Penny getting involved in the breadmaking process.

  1. From a distance it looks like Penny has a pair of pants on her head! I'd blame Annie - she must have had something to do with it!

Wonderful to see all the amazing work going on! Makes all the donating worth while!
